Developing a Niche Site - Part 3
It has been a few days since our last update on My Newbie Blog about Miami Laser Hair Removal. The site is now returning a double result at the top of page 13.
We are still only pointing links from these articles at the site. Our research on the topic continues and we will continue slowly working on the articles and link building. If you rush the process the site will end up in the Google Sandbox. Even if you take your time you might end up in the sandbox but it is nice to avoid if possible. You have to think of a natural progression. A site would normally start and then slowly other sites would begin to link to it. If you start a site and all of sudden it has hundreds of links Google knows there is something fishy going on. So you add links slowly. A link here, a couple of links there, then a few more, then 5 or 6, etc. so that over time you have a lot of links pointed at your site. It will take months to do it properly. There are some software packages available that will allow you to build hundreds of links virtually overnight. This might work in the short term from time to time, but in the long term it is better to be patient. Starting a blog for business is not a quick process, but it can be very successful.
