Starting a Blog from Scratch
My Newbie Blog is a learning tool. It is designed to help people who want to start a blog from scratch see what the process looks like in real time. As you read through the posts you will see how the blog takes shape. For two years I wrote manuals and help screens for a computer software developer. I have taken that experience and attempt to write helpful posts that will lead you through the process step by step. I will use a lot of screen shots (pictures of the actual things you will see on your screen) to help you make progress. Much of the information you find on the internet or in books about starting a blog assumes you know more than you do. This site could just as easily be called “Blogging for Beginners” or “Blogging 101″. We will work through the process here at My Newbie Blog step by step. Here is a list of the things we will do on this blog.
50 Things to Do to Start a Blog from Scratch

For more information on this process read my article called Create a Blog You Can be Proud Of (The who, what, why, where, when and how of starting a blog).
